2001: Impressions

Until 2001, Association Project Schwarz-Weiß e.V. could send three relief supply containers to Kenya.

In 2001, 3 further children could be adopted:

Anna born on 16 October 1999

Kahindi born on 29 May 1997

and Leah born on 17 May 2001

In August 2001, Leah came to us, only 3 months old. Here mother was 13 years old and still a child herself. The grandparents are very poor and do not even have a real shelter. Leah almost starved. However, she was lucky and the Youth Welfare Office was informed. Leah's mother came in a girls' boarding school and Leah to us in "Nice View". In the meantime Leah is not underfed anymore and the "bundle of joy" of "Nice View".

Group photo in 2000 2001 members of the association travelled with 36 suitcases and a gear box to Kenya..... We thank LTU for being so cooperative! A S A N T E S A N A !!! Relief supply transport to Kenya 2001.... The car is containerized at firm Danzas in Weißenhorn.... In Kenya containers are unloaded via a ramp..... pulled from the trailer.... finally roofed and used as storage space.....
