Why we are in need of a reliable source of electricity
In our village Msambweni, the power supply system collapses regularly. In addition, there are often voltage peaks that can destroy electrical devices. Frequently there is no power for hours or even the whole day.
In Nice-View I and II we can manage. In the evenings we use flash lights, light candles and kerosene lamps. In the training center for carpenters the staff takes time out and the devices are secured with special circuits.
However, with the build of the Nice-View-Kari-Charity-Medical-Centre we are facing a real challenge, since a power breakdown can here determine between life and death.
A further issue is to reduce the yearly costs for electricity and fuel (emergency generator). To sustainably lower these and to help saving the environment, we are looking for sponsors to make this important project become reality.
We would like to thank
