FATHER: PATRICK JUMA
MOTHER: SOFIA ANYANGO
RESIDENTIAL PLACE: BANGLADESH
Hector is the first born in a family of two children. He comes from a polygamous family where his mother is the second wife.
Both the father and the mother are jobless and struggle to fend for the family. His step mother works in the EPZ and she is the bread winner in the whole family.
Hector’s academic performance is good and thus we took him so that we could help him realize his dream.
Hector finished the Nice View Gratitude Academy end of 2014 with a good result (351 B+) and attends since beginning of 2015 a secondary school.
The results 2015 (form 1/class 9): B/C+/C
Since for the children from outside, mostly from Slum Bangladesh in Mombasa, almost no donations were received and the donations amount in general declined, we had to terminate the support of Hector end of 2016.
Also in respect that for more and more children of the children’s home the secondary school, the university or the college needs to be financed and not to endanger other sub-projects, this decision was inevitable.
