We help children in need! Projekt Schwarz-Weiß e.V. (association Black-White) is a children aid project that supports Africa's orphans. In the by us looked after Nice View Children`s Village in Kenya find abandoned, orphaned and abused children a new home. A big thank-you goes to Weilheim

The secondary school in Weilheim donates 1,007.29 €. The amount was mainly collected during the A-level conclusion (worship) service and will be used to further equip our school and to expande our hospital.

6 siblings find a new home in Nice View

On 29 June 2011, we received via email the information that in the slum ‚Bangladesh’, district Mikindani, 6 sibblings are in need. Immediately we drove to Mombasa to inform us on the spot. Firstly we spoke with the mayor, the 2nd District Officer (D.O.) as well as with the Volunteer Children Officer (V.C.O.). Thereafter we drove to the children’s place of residence. They were left behind at their aunt’s and uncle’s place approximately 4 months ago, and what we saw was quite shocking.

Mwanahalima has given birth to a healthy boy

On the night of 1st June 2011, Mwanahalima was brought with childbirth pains to the hospital and delivered a healthy and 3100 gram heavy child. She named her son Amaton.

Already on the same day, both could leave the hospital, and Gudrun visited them the day after. She brought Mwanahalima baby food and clothes.

Introduction of a Baby Class

In March 2011, the Nice-View-Gratitude-Academy baby class was introduced. The small children are admitted when they are 2 years old and playfully prepared for kindergarten.

Nice View Sports Facility

To meet the requirements of the school and since the number of the children increases, we had to purchase a plot in the neighborhood of Nice View II. This piece of land becomes the sports and leisure area, but it should also be possible to use a part of the compound as school garden.

The ideal solution was a bordering compound, but it did not provide the optimal conditions, and 200 truckloads of soil had to be delivered and leveled. A changing room and showers for the children were constructed, and they can soon romp around...

Rescue Centre for Mwanahalima

December 2010: When Mwanahalima (19) came home in the course of the holidays, we had to realize that she is pregnant.

Begin 2011: Mwanahalima decided to leave Nice View and to try her luck in independency.

February 2011: Mwanahalima was not successful and had to give up her job. Since her health status had significantly worsened, we admitted her temporarily again in Nice View.
