14. September 2026A 14-year-old boy who endured years of abuse and neglect found refuge at Nice View. Despite his difficult past, he dreams of becoming a lawyer. When other children’s homes were unable to take him in, Nice View opened its doors to him—because every child deserves a chance, regardless of age.
In his search for help, he undertook an arduous journey spanning hundreds of kilometers. Thanks to your support, he can now receive safety, medical care, and loving attention.
It is currently being determined whether and for how long he will stay at Nice View. Our staff are in close contact with the youth welfare office. The important thing is that the boy is now safe.
Unfortunately, our staff member was involved in an accident while driving to pick him up—fortunately, there was only minor vehicle damage.
Nice View may become his new family and support him on his path to independence. Alternatively, opportunities might arise to reintegrate him with his family or relatives. Working alongside the youth welfare office and the juvenile court, our social workers document and oversee every step—ensuring a safe and stable future.
