Pupils are prepared for end of class examinations administered at the end of every year. These exams serve as the basis of placement test while progressing to the eight class.

Pupils take the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (K.C.P.E.) examinations at the end of the eight year of primary school. The results are used to determine placement at secondary school on merit basis.
