End-Term Examinations Underway!

Over the past few weeks, the regional healthcare system has faced an immense challenge. A 43-day strike at public hospitals has caused great hardship for many people in our region. When public medical facilities are no longer available, many patients are left not knowing where to turn.
During these challenging times, the team at the Nice View Medical Centre / Clinic has given its all to support the community. Our commitment has always been—and remains—to provide medical care to every individual while treating them with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Our assessment of these 43 days:
🩺 During this period, we were able to treat and care for nearly 2,000 patients directly at our facility.
👶 43 babies have entered the world in our clinic.
In fact, many more people have sought our help. However, due to the limits of our medical capabilities, we were unfortunately unable to provide definitive care for every case on-site.
Normally, we refer severe cases or complicated births to the nearby public hospital. Due to the strike, however, this was not possible. We had to look for alternatives for these patients at large private clinics—but for most people in our region, these are simply unaffordable.
In some complex cases and emergency cesarean sections, we were unable to provide the necessary medical care on-site—as we lacked the facilities for surgery—and, with a heavy heart, we had to transfer these patients elsewhere.
This situation has once again highlighted just how vital an on-site operating room (OR) would be for our clinic. Having our own OR would enable us to provide immediate care for such emergencies right here, sparing both mothers and children from the need for lengthy, dangerous, and costly transfers.
