„Unser Besuch im Nice View im Oktober letzten Jahres war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Es ist wirklich toll, was Familie Dürr dort aufgebaut hat. Die Kinder sind großartig :-) Die Einrichtungen sind sehr ordentlich und sauber. Man hat den Eindruck dass sich sehr gut um die Kinder gekümmert wird.
Während unseres Besuchs haben wir viel mit den Kindern gespielt, Fußball, Volleyball und andere kleine Wettspiele. Der Sportplatz ist echt riesig und bietet viele Möglichkeiten. Es war ein sehr schöner Tag, den wir im Nice View verbracht haben und ich habe immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht, wenn ich an unsere Zeit dort zurückdenke.“

“This Kenia Trip was one of the most impressive experiences in my life and visiting Nice View was definitely a highlight within these 12 days.
To see what has been built up there despite all the problems they have to struggle with was really amazing.
It's been an exhausting day but when I looked at the smiles on the faces of all these happy kids I knew it was more than worth it.
Even if it was only one day it was really hard to say goodbye for me in the end.

“When approaching Nice View in our car, the whole building complex seemed like a little paradise island. I was definitely impressed, when experiencing the love in every small little detail of the facilities. Outstanding washing possibilities and bathrooms, colorful and bright rooms, probably one of the best football pitches in Africa, clean and big kitchen. These are only some of the highlights of the Nice View Area.
The Kids were simply great and we enjoyed and awesome day with them. You can really see that Sports is a key educational element of the orphanage, which is not only bringing fun, but also values to the kids. You could see this result in the fact, that the Nice View team won the local tournament in a very fair play way. Everyone supported the kids, from the management, to the teachers, to the cook.
All in all, a great and unique experience and definitely worth another visit.”

“Dear Nice View Team, first of all I would like to point out the outstanding achievements that you have made with this project. The standards that you have created for the children of Nice View are absolutely stunning!
When I went to Nice View, I had the idea of "giving" something to children and ended up with the finding that I´m "taking" away much more than I would ever have expected. It was such a great experience to see how much one can achieve by just playing games and spending time together. I can say that this visit opened my mind into many directions and I do highly recommend this to volunteers from all over the world.

“Nice View war unser erster Tag in Kenia. Ich war absolut überrascht, wie schön es die Kinder dort hatten. Ein Kinderheim eingerichtet mit ganz viel Liebe, sensationell, was Familie Dürr innerhalb von einem Jahrzehnt dort geschaffen hat.
Eine große Familie mit 50 Kindern, die zusammen lernen, spielen, lachen, die glücklich sind.
Es hat Spaß gemacht, diesen Tag mit den Kindern zu verbringen und es macht Hoffnung, dass es doch eine bessere Zukunft für (einige) Kinder in Kenia gibt. Danke besonders an Denise für den Tag mit den Kids.“
