Dental treatments at Nice View Medical Centre

Dr. Jana Huttenlau (dentist) visited us this year with the team from the MKK mit Herz organization and with the support of Dentists for Africa.

All the Nice View children were examined and treated as needed. Our staff and other patients from Msambweni and the surrounding area were also treated. Fillings were done and teeth were cleaned. Some teeth also had to be extracted. The treatments took place at the Nice View Medical Center.

We are incredibly grateful for this, as there are very few dentists in Kenya (with approximately 57 million inhabitants, there are about 1000 registered dentists – apparently there are more in Stuttgart alone!).

This operation lasted three days. That's how long it took until everyone had been examined and treated.
