With regards to this, Nice View Children’s Village came up with a home schooling based program after a series of complains from our children who have been in the secondary schools before, we saw it not to be the best option for our children, this is also in line with our mission and vision which at all cost must be protected and looked up to.
Human dignity, hope, confidence and love come first in our projects.
The secondary schools here in Kenya do not offer the best in terms of hygiene and the balanced diet of a child; children are subjected to corporal punishment which to us was not our idea of a secondary school.
The homeschooling program, which is presently in progress, will enable us to give the best to our children as far as academic is concerned since the child will eat well , be in the best hygienic state and have a conducive environment for learning. This, we believe, will enable our children to have the future they hope for.
