Thanks to an approved grant application of Sternstunden and with the support of the partner association Ubele (https://ubele.ch/) in Switzerland, the conversion / expansion of the main kitchen could be tackled.
The existing kitchen has long been too small for the number of meals that have to be prepared each day for the children of the children's village and the school, as well as the staff and teachers.
Since such an extension takes time, a makeshift kitchen had to be built first. There was still room for this next to the entrance gate. Also provisional storage warehouses had to be created.
But all the effort was worth it, as can be seen in the pictures!
