Update on employee accident

After the surgery in Nairobi, Mshila's wound was treated with vacuum sealing for 8 days – originally a 3-day treatment was prescribed, then another 5 days were added. Today the wound looks quite good, but another skin graft as well as a tendon repair will be necessary.

The intervention, planned for Sunday (March 8th), has been postponed due to Mshila's hypertonia.

After the surgery, when the skin is fully attached, a plate must be inserted.

We are so happy about the positive developments and very grateful for the donations received. If he had stayed in the Msambweni hospital, Mshila would certainly have lost his foot.
