Schools are prescribed by standards what a student must achieve in a certain subject at a certain point in time. These standards include not only subject knowledge, but also methodological skills and interdisciplinary competences.

We are happy to report that 3 of the Nice View children have successfully completed secondary school.

The two girls are keen to learn accounting or human resources and it is now looked for a suitable college or university for them.

Another big milestone in education for many children in Nice View and the surrounding area has been achieved and a heart's desire of Mama Gudrun came true.....

At the end of November we had an open day (small medical camp) in the clinic (Nice View Medical Center), especially for obstetrics.

About 35 women came, 90% of them were pregnant.

Nice View Gratitude Academy has had a very busy but successful year. This was due to the two national examinations which were both held in the same year, unlike other years where each national examination was different.

For us, the weekly family evening is a way of cultivating tradition and a source of energy. In addition, active participation in the various activities promotes self-esteem in all family members.

Nice View is a large family where children's needs and well-being are paramount. Our greatest concern is that the children are doing well.

Our KK has been doing comprehensive practical training as a weaver in the Nyeri district since 2021.

First she learned to wash, dye, comb and spin sheep's wool.

This is an event that takes place annually across the country and the Nice View children usually take part every year.

This year, the container needed a few attempts to start its journey in Roggenburg and also many weeks in Kenya before it finally arrived in Nice View....

Saturday, October 8th, 2022 was not a good day for Nice View. Around 11 a.m. a fire broke out in the outdoor kitchen and could not be fully extinguished, despite all efforts. Fortunately, we managed to contain the fire and avoid a spread to other buildings.

Finally the time had come and JJ was able to fly to Germany after successfully obtaining the visa in September 2022.

In May 2019, JJ underwent successful hip surgery.
