The 8th grade graduation ceremony took place on March 25, 2021. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions issued by the Ministry of Education, only the parents of the eighth graders were admitted this year and 4 Nice View children were among the graduates.
Despite the lockdown, Nice View was able to celebrate Easter again this year. A church service was held, Easter nests were hidden for the children and staff, delicious food was cooked and baked, activities were prepared and several alumni stopped by.
Almost 10,000 people were treated in the Nice View Clinic last year. In addition, many courses and training courses were offered, especially on the subject of obstetrics. We are very proud of this development and success!
Our good friend, Dr. Auma Obama, returned to Nice View to visit us again. Dr. Auma came to show our Environmental group how to make Portable Gardens. This is a garden where various vegetables or fruits are grown in a sack or tin. One sack alone can carry up to 30 seedlings depending on the size.
This report briefly highlights the being of the school during the year 2020. A lot of challenges occurred during the Covid – 19 but as of the beginning of 2021 things are getting back to normal.

For a while now, the schools have been open again for the 4th, 8th and 12th classes. That is, for the classes that are due to take their (final) exams. Some of the universities have also reopened.
Over the last few weeks and months, we have been able to expand our range of services.
We hired a doctor who works part-time to support our Clinical Officers (who have more authority than the nurses and may also provide obstetric care) as well as the nursing staff.
In February Mrs Angela Schönfeld organised a Prowin Party for the good cause and a cheque for 500 Euro could now be handed over to Projekt Schwarz-Weiß.

There are several children with special needs living in the Nice View Children's Village and Gudrun Dürr is committed to providing special support for these children.
In the meantime, despite Corona, the ambulance has been registered. In addition, Francis and Haji, two of the oldest boys and good drivers, are now authorized to drive the ambulance.
