This report briefly highlights the being of the school during the year 2020. A lot of challenges occurred during the Covid – 19 but as of the beginning of 2021 things are getting back to normal.
After the first Corona cases became known, our life in Nice View changed radically. Nevertheless: the crisis has actually brought us some positive impacts.
365 days of Corona and the year 2020 was anything but easy.
Earlier August this year, Nice View Trust Foundation started a system on how to protect our trees from various problems that affect trees and that can harm their smooth growth.

A year is coming to an end that has presented almost everyone on earth with a challenge that hardly anyone thought possible. The Corona pandemic caused a lot of suffering and continues to shape the lives of people worldwide.
Thanks to the crowdfunding campaign supported by the Volksbank Ulm-Biberach EG, the renovation of the roof of the Nice View Clinic could begin and we would like to share the first pictures with you.
For a while now, the schools have been open again for the 4th, 8th and 12th classes. That is, for the classes that are due to take their (final) exams. Some of the universities have also reopened.
Over the last few weeks and months, we have been able to expand our range of services.
We hired a doctor who works part-time to support our Clinical Officers (who have more authority than the nurses and may also provide obstetric care) as well as the nursing staff.
In February Mrs Angela Schönfeld organised a Prowin Party for the good cause and a cheque for 500 Euro could now be handed over to Projekt Schwarz-Weiß.
It is important to the Nice View Clinic team and to us to provide access to high quality medical care for everyone. Motto: Quality Services for Community.
There are several children with special needs living in the Nice View Children's Village and Gudrun Dürr is committed to providing special support for these children.
In the meantime, despite Corona, the ambulance has been registered. In addition, Francis and Haji, two of the oldest boys and good drivers, are now authorized to drive the ambulance.
The group of heroes was founded by R, who actually studies teaching at the university. This is about offering tutoring to weaker students and motivating them to do their best.
This project was started by Anne (childcare worker). A short summary:

Fortunately, the corona virus has not yet spread to Msambweni on the South Coast of Kenya, where the children's village is located. However, the children are still in isolation in the children's village and the schools might not reopen before the end of the year.
With the small hospital built and equipped according to European standards we aim to provide reliable medical care for the people living in one of the poorest regions in Kenya.
Since we would like to expand the range of services offered by the clinic, it would be great if we could offer accommodation to doctors who are on standby or doctors who support us in Kenya. Therefore we would like to finish their accommodation possibility.
