Dear sponsors and friends,
unfortunately, we have still issues with the solar installation which is supposed to provide the clinic with power. Sometimes it even fails completely.
Dear sponsors, supporters and friends,
As 2018 is coming to an endwe are grateful that – in accordance with the founding ideals we developed 22 years ago – the Nice View projects have been brought closer to their goal of helping people towards a better future.
Dear godparents, friends and supporters,
after a few years there have failed two important things in the clinic: The used generator got irreparable damaged and at almost the same time the changeover switch of the solar system got damaged.
Dear godparents, friends and supporters,
Our Mwanasha completed her au-pair-year at the end of March and at the beginning of April she started a voluntary-social-year at the clinic in Krumbach.
End of last year Kahindi finished secondary school and has been at a vocational training unit in Diani since January for an apprenticeship to become a painter.
Dear godparents, friends and sponsors,
We are happy to announce that thanks to the organization “A heart for children” (and others) the construction of the two-story building, including the solar plant, has been completed.
Dear sponsors, friends and supporters,
As usual, the Easter holidays are approaching fast. We can hardly believe that after ice and snow and then a few warm days, we have snowflakes and freezing temperatures again.
On Friday (February 16, 2018) we received news from Kenya of a building on the clinic property being on fire. It is used as a storage (for medical supplies, equipment) but also the water supply (well, water pump etc.) is also located there.
My name is Mwanasha. I am in Germany since 05 April 2017 and worked for 1 year as au-pair in a Family by the name Schaller. The Family was friendly to me, that means i had a lot of fun and i got to learn and experience many new things from them.
Already the whole day was the anticipation felt. The banda was decorated and treats prepared. Also, the Christmas songs and Christmas poems that the children should recite were rehearsed.
As every year, the children spent the days between Christmas and New Year on the beach. The older boys were even allowed to spend the night there and also the New Year's Eve was celebrated in the banda at the beach.
