A container, presumably the last one, is to be shipped to Kenya this year to deliver urgently needed aid supplies and hopefully also new batteries as well as a battery inverter for the solar system.

8 years ago, the clinic was equipped with a solar system and since then, has been independent of the local power supply that is extremely unreliable.

The roof of the clinic, that was built about 10 years ago, shows clear signs of aging. Its renewal can't wait any longer.

We were informed that Mshila, the Nice View employee who got severely injured when cutting trees, was flown over to Nairobi last Sunday (February 16).

On February 10, a terrible accident occurred in Kenya. Mshila, a Nice View employee since the early days of the 20-year-old children's village, injured his foot very badly while cutting down trees.
