At the end of February, a 7-year-old boy was placed in Nice View through the youth welfare office.
After further research by the youth welfare office, the family was found and the boy was able to be reintegrated.

Christmas and New Year's Eve in Nice View are always a very special highlight. Some of the children, who are already adults, enjoy coming to their Nice View family on these special days. Like every year, it's a little challenge for the Christ child to do justice to everyone...

Shortly before Christmas on December 23, we received the news from Kenya that the ultrasound machine at the Nice View Clinic had broken down beyond repair....

Visit by Dr. Auma Obama and Mrs. Akinyi Obama-Manners to the Nice View Trust Foundation projects in Msambweni / South Coast of Kenya.

As every year, the children made Easter baskets out of palm leaves.

On Easter Sunday morning, an Easter service was held in the dining room.

In the meantime, the Easter Bunny was able to hide the Easter nests and after church we went looking for the nests.

Another aid transport was received in Nice View and we thank all supporters!

The year 2023 started very well and the whole family was looking forward to a great time together. After the long holidays, everything quickly went back to normal.

In January the children started their new classes and everyone was very excited and getting to know their new teachers.

Although the time until midnight was very entertaining, not all children made it into the New Year awake.
There was delicious food, games and performances were prepared and of course there was dancing.

The day before New Year's Eve, the older children set off for Mwambe to spend two days there. Part of the Nice View farm project is located on the property, which is picturesquely located next to a lake.

The anticipation was great this year too and the children had prepared a lot again. The Christmas story was reenacted and Christmas carols were sung and of course danced.

We organized a St. Nicholas evening for the children to continue the tradition in Kenya. We teach our children traditions, values ​​and customs because these have a special importance in the upbringing of a child.

A year with many ups and downs is coming to an end. Simply a nice feeling to know people like you are at Nice View's side.

Two months ago the first and second board members were re-elected. On behalf of the association, we would like to thank Martina Domke for over 10 years of service as the first board member and Mr. Michael Eipper for over 6 years of service as the second board member for Projekt Schwarz-Weiß e.V.

Schools are prescribed by standards what a student must achieve in a certain subject at a certain point in time. These standards include not only subject knowledge, but also methodological skills and interdisciplinary competences.

We are happy to report that 3 of the Nice View children have successfully completed secondary school.

The two girls are keen to learn accounting or human resources and it is now looked for a suitable college or university for them.

Another big milestone in education for many children in Nice View and the surrounding area has been achieved and a heart's desire of Mama Gudrun came true.....
